The blazer - probably one of the most versatile items to have in your wardrobe as it can really pull an outfit together. There is hardly a piece of clothing that makes you look so dressed so quickly. Pair it with jeans for a casual everyday look. Pair it with a dress for a more chic style. Pair it with tailored trousers and a blouse to pull off a killer work outfit.
Blazers are always in fashion. They are the must-have item of clothing as they can (and will) elevate your outfit, wherever you are going.
Fitted, oversized, double-breasted, open-front blazer – there are certainly a lot of styles to choose from. And while the fitted blazer will always be in fashion, demand for a more relaxed fit has grown as well.

HOW TO CHOOSE A COLOUR
If you are looking for a sophisticated look, then a black or dark navy blazer is the go-to item. If you go for a blazer in a dark colour, that allows you to pair it with brighter colours and bold prints – whether you are wearing it with a dress or with a blouse and jeans.
However, 2023 is all about bright pink and blazers are definitely in keeping with the trend. If you want to stand out, then a blazer in a pink hue will achieve that – but the rest of the outfit should be more reserved.
Natural tones are calm and can be combined with almost anything. If you don’t have a blazer in your wardrobe yet, white and beige blazers are ideal to build your look on.

ACCESSORIZE
Uplift your look by adding some accessories to your blazer outfit.
Scarf
Add a scarf for extra glamour. A scarf can pair well with your blazer to polish your overall look. You can accessorize with a smaller scarf (kerchief-style) or with an oversized one, but make sure the scarf doesn’t overwhelm the outfit.
A rule of thumb you can follow – if you are wearing a solid colour blazer then you can opt for a patterned or solid colour scarf. If your blazer is patterned, then opt for a solid colour scarf. If you decide to wear a patterned scarf with your solid colour blazer, then make sure that the scarf you pick contains that colour in it or complements the blazer.
Brooch
Why not pair your favourite brooch with your blazer. What better place to show it off than on your lapel to add more personality to your outfit. Whether it is a new brooch or a family heirloom, it will no doubt add interest to your fashion statement.
And even though you can wear the brooch either on your left or right lapel, if you are going to a more formal event the rule of thumb is to wear it on your left side. Also, wear it a little lower than your collarbone and make sure it doesn’t overpower your face.
Belt
A belt will not only enhance the look of your blazer, but it will also give shape to your figure. You can play with the style of the belt, its colour or the shape and size of its buckle. The belt can add texture, colour and interest to your chosen blazer outfit for a truly individual look.
